I LOVE summer street fairs in the city because there is so much to do and see. Also, did I mention the food vendors? YUM.
I came out of the subway station on 57th street, and there was a street fair on 6th ave, also known as Avenue of Americas. I met up with my partner-in-crime, Sandy, and we decided to spend the day at the street fair instead of the MAD museum.
I had dinner with my high school friends at a Soon Du Bu Restaurant, and I forgot to take pictures because we were all so hungry that we dived in when the food came out. But I was able to take snap shots of the birthday cake that I got from Taipan Bakery. If you’re ever in Flushing, check out that bakery because it’s good and cheap 🙂
I went on a shopping date with Mom at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center, and when I saw a “Five Guys” sign posted on the Loews Movie Theater’s outer wall, I pointed at it and said, “Mom, let’s eat here for lunch.”
